Cofounders
When ambition meets passion
Callie is a student and an aspiring surgeon committed to advancing healthcare as a human right. She seeks to amplify the voices of youth and is deeply interested in health policy, working to promote health equity and drive meaningful change in underserved communities through advocacy, service, and leadership. Beyond that, Callie has a love for building things: from entrepreneurship all the way to coding.
Lynn Zhao is a founding member of Paeonia whose passion for medicine stems from both her love for science and her desire to make a meaningful impact on people’s lives. As a strong proponent of accessible healthcare for all, Lynn hopes to help address existing gaps in health equity through her work with the organization.
Executive Officers
These students were selected on the basis of their dedication, passion, innovation, and ability to lead Paeonia on a global scale.
Emma Gao is a student with a deep interest in researching machine learning applications. She is involved in debate, and likes to stay active through bowling and badminton
Eric Wu has a strong passion for medicine and science, pursuing it to help others. Outside, he loves sports, art and spending time with friends.
Caeli Suen is passionate about helping others and hopes to pursue a path that allows her to make a positive impact on people’s lives. In her spare time, Caeli enjoys reading, creating art, and creating music.
Ha Eun Lee is interested in becoming an occupational therapist. In her free time, she enjoys cooking and bowling.
Lucas Sang aspires to build a career in the medical field. Beyond his passion for medicine, he enjoys playing the piano and violin.
Xi Yu Chen is passionate about sports medicine and hopes to pursue a path that allows her to help other people be more healthy and active. In her spare time, she enjoys playing volleyball, running track, and playing the cello.
Jameson Yang is frequently spotted reading classical literature, giving away money to the underprivileged, and dedicating his time to raise awareness for health literacy. He also enjoys playing tennis and eating various different foods.
Vevina Liang is a student who is currently interested in becoming a malpractice lawyer. In her free time, she enjoys reading, watching movies and shows, and occasionally writing. Her favorite genre is fantasy, and she loves putting on a movie while crafting.
Kelsie Chin is an aspiring student in health policy and administration. Her passions range from public health to business, reflected in her involvement in DECA, HOSA, the American Red Cross, serves as a co-founder of her art student organization, and competes as a USAG Level 10 gymnast. Outside of her academic and extracurricular pursuits, she enjoys playing guitar and baking.
Isabella Yan has a huge passion for helping out her community and is dedicated to raising awareness on equitable healthcare all around the world. She believes everyone should have access to healthcare, regardless of where they live or any other circumstances. Outside of Paeonia, Bella loves musical theatre and singing!
Calvin Yan is a student with an interest in medicine and biology. He is involved in DECA and is an active volleyball athlete.
